    Atul Dhir is the Chief Executive Officer of New Century Health and joined the company in January 2012. Dr. Dhir is a physician and scientist with over 25 years of leadership experience in building and leading innovative healthcare companies. Before joining New Century Health, Dr. Dhir was the CEO of BiPar Sciences, Inc., a cancer-focused biotech subsidiary of the global Pharmaceutical Company, Sanofi-Aventis. Prior to BiPar Sciences, Dr. Dhir was at US Oncology, (now McKesson Specialty Health), one of the largest providers of cancer care in the United States. During his 8 years with US Oncology, Dr. Dhir led several businesses, including serving as the President of the company’s Cancer Research Group, one of the nation’s leading cancer drug development companies. Dr. Dhir has also held senior positions in the healthcare division of Monsanto Company and as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Dr. Dhir received his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his doctorate of philosophy (DPhil) in medicine from the University of Oxford, UK, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

    Joaquin Baralt is responsible for operations and key business development and strategic initiatives. An accomplished managed care executive, Joaquin has over 25 years of experience in provider network development and healthcare management. He previously held executive positions at several healthcare organizations, including Physicians Healthcare Plans, CAC Care Plus Centers and CarePlus Health Plan. Joaquin received his Doctor in Medicine from Universidad Central Del Este, Dominican Republic and a Certificate in Health Care Administration from the University of Miami, Florida.

    Chris provides the strategic leadership for ensuring that the company recruits the right talent, offers the right professional development support and provides the right benefits. Working closely with the CEO and executive leaders, Chris helps to create and sustain a culture that enables our people and our company to thrive. As a senior human resource leader with over 20 years of experience, Chris is skilled in helping technology and healthcare companies achieve high performance in rapidly changing organization structures and conditions. Immediately prior to NCH, Chris was a senior HR leader at Broadcom, where he was responsible for the comprehensive experience of 6,200+ employees across 20 countries. Preceding his tenure at Broadcom, he had several leadership positions where he was responsible for organization design, change management and talent acquisition. Earlier in his career, Chris had operational and human resource positions at Baxter International, MicroAge Computers, Motorola and Bank of America. He has as BA in Marketing from State University of New York as Oswego.

    Dr. Hertler, as the CMO of New Century Health, is responsible for the advancement of the company’s clinical quality and value-based strategy, utilization management policies and clinical thought leadership initiatives. A practicing board certified oncologist, he is a nationally recognized leader in oncology clinical practice. Dr. Hertler is a member of several American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) committees, including the Clinical Practice, Quality of Care and Payment Reform Committees. In addition, he also serves on ASCO’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification Program Oversight Council. Immediately prior to joining the company, Dr. Hertler was the Administrative Medical Director for Physician Practices at Maine General Medical Center and the Medical Director of the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta, Maine. He is a past president of the Northern New England Clinical Oncology Society. Earlier in his career, Dr. Hertler was Assistant Professor of Medicine in Hematology/Oncology at the Louisiana State University Medical School. Dr. Hertler received his medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Michigan affiliated hospitals. He later completed a Fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at Duke University Medical Center. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry with highest honors from Dartmouth College.

    Paul is responsible for the national growth and adoption of NCH’s value-based specialty care solutions by risk-bearing provider groups, health plans and management services organizations (MSOs). An accomplished managed care executive, he brings more than 25 years of experience in leading service delivery transformation for health plans and health systems. Prior to joining NCH, Paul concluded more than a decade of national care and physician network leadership at Aetna, where his national care management responsibilities included P&L, product development and product sales for Aetna’s Commercial and Medicare clinical operations. During his tenure, Paul successfully led the integration of clinical operations and services after Aetna’s acquisition of Coventry Health Care. He was also responsible for the implementation of clinical programs supporting Aetna’s ACO and joint venture relationships. Before joining Aetna, he held senior executive network management roles at United HealthCare and Horizon Healthcare. Earlier in his career, he held management positions at Physicians Health Services and Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. Paul has a BS in health administration from Springfield College and an MBA, in Health Care Management from the University of New Haven.

    As the company’s CFO, Donna is responsible for the strategic leadership of the company’s Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Tax functions. Donna has more than 15 years of experience as a senior finance executive at publicly traded and private equity backed healthcare companies. Immediately prior to joining NCH, Donna was senior vice president of Finance at Landmark Health, a risk-taking provider of home-based medical care for chronically ill patients. At Landmark she built a world class finance team that helped scale Landmark from concept to 25,000 patients in less than two years, executing five innovative long-term population risk contracts with health plans. She previously served as CFO of Primecare/NAMM, a Southern California risked based network of independently contracted physicians, and a division of OptumCare. Before joining Optum, Donna served in various Senior Executive Finance roles in the rapidly expanding healthcare market. Early in her career Donna spent several years at PacifiCare and began her career at Ernst & Young in its Healthcare Practice. Donna is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BSBA in Accounting from Chapman University

    A senior executive with New Century Health since 2013, Santosh Dave leads technology and business operations for clinical and claims functions. He is also responsible for the execution of clinical product strategy in collaboration with the chief medical officer. An accomplished healthcare technology leader, Santosh brings over 25 years of experience from a diverse group of Fortune 50 and private equity-backed companies. Immediately before joining NCH, Santosh was chief information officer at CareCentrix, where he transformed multiple IT systems and enabled exponential growth. In a previous CIO-level position in Viant Inc., Santosh consolidated multiple systems from acquisitions, built analytical capability, and streamlined business operations to facilitate growth. As Head of IT and Infrastructure for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, he implemented new technology systems that increased operational efficiencies and optimized multi-site operations. Earlier in his career, he held management positions at GE, Sprint, and several global technology companies. Santosh, a certified PMP, and Six Sigma Green Belt, received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India.

    Giselle’s leadership responsibilities focus on developing innovative provider-payer alignment and engagement strategies that enable specialty physicians to delivery evidence-based and affordable care. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership and management experience in physician network development, provider education, practice management and training. Having joined NCH several years after its founding, Giselle has been an integral part of the executive and senior leadership team. Prior to NCH, she was the Director of Physician Relations for Provider Network Solutions, a Florida Third Party Administrator. Earlier in her career she held management positions at Tenet Physician Services, Physicians HealthCare Plans, PacifiCare and the South Broward Hospital District.
